At the end of 2007, I decided to have a trip to the Lot Lot with my brother Arash Arinpour. The trip was to travel to the Lot Spa.
We got ready for the car and got enough water and food and headed from Birjand to the town of Khusuf, which is about 30 kilometers away. The road has been paved recently). Then we reach a dirt road and continue on our way. After 20 minutes we reach a river of salty water with several camels beside it. We keep going until the eyes are clear and the desert is flat. After about 30 kilometers we reach the middle of the road. No car or person. We wonder who will help if the car crashes or something unintended happens? Then continue along the path, passing a short creek midway through some ruined houses. And we notice that near the spa the path splits into two. One goes to Kerman Rover, which is completely dirt and dangerous, and the other reaches the Lut Spa. Surprisingly, we see a number of families coming to the spa from remote villages and nearby towns and believing that it treats many of the arthritis, back pain, leg aches and psychosis alongside the spa building. A cultural heritage building was also under construction, promising travelers a glimpse of hope.

In the age of technology and the rise of roads and communications everything seems easy, but there are still many unknowns that human beings do not have access to or are bored of when they will be discovered over time, and it is the desert that has many unknowns. And every time you enter, a newer world is revealed in front of your eyes.
