Chah Jam Rigzar is located at N3547 E5506, 40 km north of Taroud city, 70 km south of Shahroud city and near Abadi with the same name in Semnan province. The ridge is about 8 km long in the east-west direction and about 5 km in the north-south transverse direction. Although the area can be assessed in the context of desert regions with relatively warm and dry climates, however, due to the Alborz Mountains in the northern part, the influence of the northern climatic conditions on the area is undeniable. . Evaporation-salt basin wells indicate the special climatic conditions of the area. The reason for such precipitation in this area is the existence of Haji Ali Quli Damghan Desert in the west of this region and the southern highlands. The moisture in the swampy and desert regions has stabilized the flowing sands in the well of the Jammah and has produced a sandstorm. The average height of the area is 1120 meters and the highest sand dunes are 40 meters high.

 Vegetation
