Long Ridge is located at N341858 E515255 in Isfahan province. Located 2 kilometers east of Maranjab Caravanserai, there are tall sandy communities known as the Long Ridge. The sand dunes at the highest point are about 3 meters high and are much taller than the sandy areas where they are clearly visible from distances and the Maranjab inn. The high altitude of these hills has affected the naming of the whole area in a way that is referred to as the sandy communities east and north of Bandarig, which means that the sandstone is in the sandy wall. These sand dunes extend northward along the northern wall of the Conk Nose for about 2 km. The type of hills in this area is stabilized by the type of sand dunes and with very little movement during the year. This height difference with the adjacent sand dunes has given the area the name of the Long Ridge.

The long sand dunes in the slopes have sandy vegetation such as Scenebill, Nettle, Nassie, Cow Tail and more. This vegetation decreased with increasing altitude and sloping so that the top of the hills was completely devoid of vegetation. In the past year, the area has had wildlife such as scorpions, parsley, snake camel, laserta marjabie, desert buzzard, eastern rabbit, sand cat, sand fox, hawk, desert sage, jard, pomswak, etc. This area and the degradation of vegetation are less critical in this area. To reach the long sandpit, just drive east on the dirt road to Maranjab, 2 kilometers to the east, and after the well, pick the right path to reach the long sandbag. In recent years, most tours to Maranjab have been visited. The spectacular views of the Maslat Salt Lake and the Maranjab Plain, the Bandarig Sand Hills and the Kalang Mountains above these hills are spectacular. To the north and east of the Long Ridge is the salt lake Maslah. If you continue along this route, you will reach the Cape of Conak, which has the most sand to the north. To the west and south of the Sand Ridge are the long sand dunes of Bandarig.
