It has a number of Safavid palaces, as well as beautiful mosques, squares and other architectural features that make Isfahan the jewel of Iran. These splendid works of Islamic and Persian architecture include the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Imam (Shah) Square, Isfahan Jame Mosque, Khawjo Bridge, Nagid Naghsh Jahan Square, Chel Sutan, Solimaneh Bridge, Hashti Paradise, and Aga Ali’s Bath. In addition, there are a number of non-Islamic religious buildings, such as the Vanak Church and the Isfahan Fire Temple.
