Not widely known outside of Iran, Sari is a small town in the Caspian Sea in Mazandaran province. Sari is the center of the province and lies between the Alborz Mountains and the Caspian Coast. The city is renowned for its natural beauty, orange, natural spring, and the warm and salty springs of Badab Sourt. Sari has a number of attractions, such as the clock tower at Meidan-Sā’at Square and a number of historical tombs. While not particularly noticeable, visits to other cities in Mazandaran, such as Noor, on the Caspian coast, or Babylon, called the city of “orange blossom”, and Amol are also recommended. If you only want to pick a place for your favorite scenery and climate, this area is definitely worth a visit.
