The central desert salt dolphins are located 48 km southeast of N352230 E534325 in Semnan province. Semnan is one of the oldest salt mines in Iran called the salt mine. The salt mine is seen as salt domes and its salt structures are attributed to the Oligocene period. The purity of the mineral in this mine is 98% and in the type of superior stone it is more than 99%. On the north side of the mine are salt dolphins that are unique in their kind. The dolphins are 10 meters high and the miners have worked hard to preserve them. Salt Mine The salt mine has salt, orange, blue, gray and white rocks that are highly capable of attracting tourists. To reach the mine, you have to enter the military road of Semnan Air Force Base and after a distance of 48 kilometers, it entered the salt mine bypass for 10 kilometers.
